MONTHLY HOSTING COSTS

You might be surprised to learn
that you don't need to pay a lot of money
every month to have your website hosted online! I
use GoDaddy.com (the
world's largest domain name registrar) for hosting my websites and, rather
than charging you myself and then adding on a monthly surcharge as many
other companies do, your credit card will
be charged monthly directly by
GoDaddy. Their current monthly charge is only
$6.99!
DOMAIN NAME COSTS
•
If you do not already own your
own domain name (such as:
www.yourname.com), we will purchase it through GoDaddy
(less than $10
for a year), and you will be charged once a
year when it's time to renew.
You can also purchase your domain name
for multi-year periods if you wish.
If you already have your own domain name but it is registered with
a
different registrar, there will be a charge ($6.95) to transfer it
to GoDaddy,
but that also includes a free one year registration extension. You
will own
your domain name and will be responsible for any domain name
charges.
FUTURE ADDITIONS OR CHANGES
•
The charge for
any future updates, changes or additions, is $50 an hour.
